Position Overview Physician – General Hematology/Oncology, Wheeling Hospital, West Virginia University School of Medicine. Responsibilities Practice Hematology/Oncology in Wheeling, WV, with potential assignments at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Provide excellent patient care and deliver individual or confidential care as needed. Actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in the department. Fulfill duties at additional sites as needed, including travel to those locations. Qualifications MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, eligible for state medical license. Completed Internal Medicine residency program and Hematology/Oncology fellowship program. Board certified or eligible in Hematology/Oncology. All qualifications must be met at time of appointment. Travel & Work Sites Primary practice location: Wheeling, WV. Additional duties may require travel to other sites within West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
