Director, Global Value & Access Strategy (Cell-Therapy Autoimmune)

Gilead Sciences seeks a Director of Global Value & Access Strategy for its cell-therapy autoimmune portfolio. The role involves developing and executing market access strategies across development and commercialization, collaborating with clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure payer perspectives inform product development and launch planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as global market access representative for autoimmune programs and lead cross-functional strategic conversations
• Develop global value and access strategies across product lifecycle from early development through launch and lifecycle management
• Analyze market access trends, reimbursement requirements, and competitive dynamics across US, EU5, Canada, Australia, and Japan
• Partner with clinical, HEOR, and medical affairs teams on early payer engagement and HTA scientific advice strategies
• Lead assessment of payer and health system evidence requirements and translate insights into actionable clinical development recommendations

Requirements

• 8+ years experience with PhD/PharmD, or 10+ years with MS/MBA/advanced degree, or 12+ years with BS/BA
• 3+ years supporting autoimmune disease programs in development, clinical strategy, market access, or commercial functions
• Deep knowledge of autoimmune disease treatment paradigms, competitive landscape, and patient needs
• Experience in advanced therapies such as cell therapy or gene therapy strongly preferred
• Background in pharmaceutical or biotech market access, pricing, reimbursement, HEOR, or commercial strategy
• Ability to support early and late-stage development programs and translate payer insights into strategy
