**Exciting Opportunity for an Endoscopy Tech - Day Shift!** Job Description: - **Position:** Travel Endoscopy Technician - **Start Date:** ASAP - **Duration:** 13 weeks - **Shift:** Days, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday - **Call Requirement:** - Full week rotation from 3:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Mon-Fri) - Weekends: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM **Why You’ll Love This Role:** - Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment! - Average of 15-18 cases per day with increased activity on Saturdays. - Work closely with procedural teams to deliver exceptional patient care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare procedure rooms and set up equipment, instruments, and supplies. - Assist procedural teams by anticipating physician needs and supporting patient positioning. - Clean, decontaminate, and perform high-level disinfection of endoscopic equipment. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with endoscopes and related equipment. - Handle, label, and document specimens and cultures accurately. - Monitor inventory and ensure all supplies are stocked and current. - Maintain department records, including quality control documentation. **What You Bring to the Team:** - 2+ years of endoscopy experience required. - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). - GI certification and Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience preferred. **Qualifications:** - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally. - Knowledge of professional practices related to Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. - Previous experience assisting GI physicians with complex procedures is a plus. - Required certifications: Heartsaver / AED and completion of Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Advanced Associates Program. **Join Us in Making a Difference!** Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
