Associate Veterinarian
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 4-day workweek (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with either Monday or Friday off; no nights, weekends, or after-hours responsibilities.
Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative, mission-driven veterinary team committed to providing high-quality, accessible care for pets and their families. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals.
• Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and routine surgical procedures.
• Educate pet owners on treatment options, preventive care, and overall pet wellness.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Participate in mentorship and professional development opportunities.
• Support clinic operations and provide coverage at multiple clinic locations as needed.

Qualifications Required

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Active North Carolina Veterinary License or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
• Preferred: 2-3 years of clinical veterinary experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and client relationship skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
• Patient volume will be an average of 18+ appointments per day.
