Accounting Specialist

Our accounting department exists to provide our customers with the best financial data available, because great financial data leads to great organizations.We're looking for a self-motivated, high energy, mission oriented Accounting Specialist. Position responsibilities include A/P, A/R, payroll and month-end closing services, as well as other accounting related functions as requested. The right individual for this position will be able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, while maintaining a high level of accounting services and professionalism.Responsibilities include A/P, A/R, and month-end closing services, as well as other accounting related functions as neededProcess accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and proceduresPerform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' dataPrepare bills, invoices and bank depositsReconcile bank accounts and credit card statementsReconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly postedVerify and resolve issues and discrepanciesGenerate financial statementsPurchasingFixed Asset MangementStrong work ethic whatever it takes attitudeProven accounting experienceSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsData entry skills along with a knack for numbersHands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary softwareProficiency in MS OfficeCustomer service orientation and negotiation skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailQuickBooks experience preferredPurchasing experience preferredFixed asset experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
