What to Expect: Short-Term Commitment with Long-Term Options Many of our clients are just starting services, and we need dependable caregivers to help get them off the ground and stable . Once that happens, we’ll transition a permanent caregiver into the role. Want to stay with the client permanently? You’ll have the option to do so. Prefer to stay flexible and per diem? That works too. We simply ask for a short-term commitment to help the client adjust and get the care they need at the beginning. What You'll Do As a Personal Support Specialist, you will assist clients with a variety of non-medical home care services, including: Personal care assistance Mobility support and transfers Meal preparation Light housekeeping Companionship and social engagement Transportation assistance Temporary coverage for clients when their regular caregiver is unavailable. Applicants should be comfortable traveling within the service area and supporting multiple client locations as needed. Mileage reimbursement is provided for eligible travel. Candidates Should Be Dependable and punctual Compassionate and patient Comfortable adapting to changing schedules and assignments Strong communicators Team-oriented and willing to assist where needed Committed to providing high-quality care and customer service Minimum Qualifications At least one year of caregiving experience preferred PSS Certified (No Certificate?
