Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in telemetry nursing with a strong background in acute care settings.

Position Information

Role: RN M/S Tele
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: 3x12s
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period
Call Requirements: None scheduled; flexible scheduling possible

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 40
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Equipment: Baxter for IV pumps, Posey for bed/chair alarms, Omnicel for drug dispensing, Zoll for defibrillators
EHR: Medhost
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric

Qualifications

Required Certifications: ACLS
Years of Experience: 2 years in acute care
Float Requirements: Ability to float to other units (IMC, ED) as needed
Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience, ability to manage 6 patient ratio, travel experience
Preferred Skills/Experience: At least 2 years of RN experience, preceptor and charge experience is a plus
Type of Patients: Total joint patients, surgical patients, those with acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GIB
Required Education: ADN
Personality Fit: Compassionate, positive, and has a can-do attitude

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Black (top and bottom)
Unacceptable Attire: Open shoes
