Surgical Coordinator Haymarket VaPay From $22 Per HourMUST: The Surgical Coordinator needs to have the following:3+ year of recent experience as a Surgical Coordinator in a surgical setting10+ years of experience in a surgical or high volume medical specialty practiceCalling sites for medical records for patients having upcoming proceduresReviewing medical records to ensure they are properly updated with required labs, tests and imaging resultsCoordinating and tracking preoperative medical clearancesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsMUST: The Duties of the Surgical Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:Review medical records for upcoming proceduresEnsure all required labs, tests and imaging results are uploaded to patient's medical recordsCoordinate and track pre-operative medical clearancesCall practice sites for laboratory tests, EKG's and imaging resultsAnswer phonesTake detailed messages for pre assessment nurses prior to proceduresQuadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
