Day Shift – 1 free charge, 9 bedside RN, 1PCT
Night Shift -1 free charge, 9 bedside RN
Patient Ratios – 1:2; 1:1
Type of equipment - Philip monitor, alaris and medfusion IV pumps
EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 1-year current PICU RN experience
BLS & PALS
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Post op cardiac experience
Venous puncture
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Conscious sedations
Care of respiratory failure (ETT, HFOV)
CT placement
Central line maintenance and care
