Registered Nurse Oncology

$2080.80/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to oncology and bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients in a 13-week contract role. Utilize extensive chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and BMT experience to support patient treatment plans and safety standards. Responsibilities: Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and blood products following strict safety protocols. Monitor patient responses and manage adverse reactions proactively. Collaborate with pharmacy and medical teams to ensure proper medication preparation and delivery. Document treatments, patient observations, and procedural details accurately in electronic health records. Adhere to all policies regarding hazardous drugs, PPE, and infection control procedures. Ensure compliance with the required ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification standards. Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. At least 1 year of oncology nursing experience. Certification in ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy with 15.25 contact hours. Demonstrated competency in chemotherapy administration in a clinical setting. BMT and CAR-T experience preferred.
