As a Hospital Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to calls for assistance, including in sensitive areas, while providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, building perimeters, entrances, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access-control processes, and compliance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, timely reports and maintain accurate logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
