Operating Room RN Specialty

Shift Length: 12-hour shifts Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per month On-Call Requirement: Day-shift on-call, approximately 24-36 hours per month Minimum Assignment Length: 10 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

License: Active RN license Certifications: BCLS Years of Experience: 3 years Required Experience: Level I trauma experience and circulating experience; trauma and neuro experience is required. EMR: Cerner

Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, ensuring safety and comfort. Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and effective patient outcomes. Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia during procedures. Assist in preparing and maintaining OR equipment and supplies. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Drug screen required within 30 days of start. Documentation deadlines: compliance documents due approximately 10 days prior to start. Local hire rule: no locals within 100-mile radius; non-local driver's license required on file. Scrubs: Purple scrubs provided.
