Chat Support Agent

AUTO HAUS of Yorktown and Williamsburg is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Chat Support Agent to assist customers through live chat and digital communication channels. The ideal candidate will provide prompt and accurate responses, address customer questions, and help create a positive and professional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries through live chat and online messaging platforms.
• Provide accurate information about vehicles, services, appointments, and general inquiries.
• Assist customers with questions and identify appropriate solutions.
• Escalate complex or unresolved concerns to the appropriate department.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and helpful communication style.
• Document customer interactions and update records accurately.
• Manage multiple conversations while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality.
• Meet established response-time, quality, and productivity expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service, chat support, automotive, or administrative experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and typing skills.
• Comfortable using computers, email, chat platforms, and standard office software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable, professional, and customer-oriented.
