Traveling Licensed Orthodontic Assistant OpportunityWe are a rapidly growing Pediatric Dental Practice with 20+ locations across Los Angeles. Children's Dental FunZone is dedicated to serving the unique needs of children, toddlers, and teens. We offer comprehensive services including preventive pediatric Dental Care and Orthodontics. Our teams of dental professionals are changing the face of pediatric dental care through our dedication to oral health and compassionate care for our patients and their guardians. Our practices are based on a patient-centric approach achieved through significant teamwork, flexibility, and commitment.Orthodontic Assistant License in California RequiredJob Type: Full Time, Mon-Fri 8:00 am- 5:00 pm; some Saturdays & Sundays 8:00 am- 2:00 pm$35-$40.00/Hr.Benefits offered:Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance401K Retirement PlanEmployee DiscountsVacation and SickEndless opportunities to grow within the CompanyMonthly BonusesEmployee Referral Incentive ProgramJob DutiesFamiliarity with dental terminology, materials, medications and instruments used during dental proceduresPerform the following tasks to ensure efficiency: clean, sterilize instruments, and set up traysMaintain and test equipment (sterilizer, x-ray dosimetry, x-ray processor, etc.)Effectively pour models and conduct other lab proceduresInstruct patients in oral hygiene and preventive dental care educationPerform charting activities and document exam findings in a patient recordMaintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratoryWork in conjunction with Staff Dentists/Dental team to develop and implement preventive dental activities for the communitySafely performs all duties of protective protocols to ensure personal safety as well as the safety of othersDesired Profile/Background:Orthodontic Assistant License in California RequiredMust love working with childrenMinimum 3 years of experience as an Orthodontic AssistantValid driver's license and own vehicle requiredX-Ray CertificateAn upbeat personality is a MUSTAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.High school diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of Dentrix.Bi-Lingual (Spanish) preferred
