Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Shifts are 3x12 hours, nights (19:00 - 07:00).

Assignment Details

Contract length is determined by the facility. Guaranteed hours per week may be subject to variability, with the facility able to call off once per two-week pay period.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Valid nursing license.
• Certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
• Certifications preferred: AWHONN Advanced.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR): Epic.
• Must be willing to float between like units.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal/fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Respond to emergencies and provide urgent care as necessary.
