This role works closely with builders, homeowners, contractors, and internal teams to ensure products are installed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced construction environment.Installation & ConstructionInstall windows, patio doors, and related building products on new construction and renovation projectsReview work orders, installation instructions, and project specifications prior to beginning workMeasure, level, square, and install products to ensure proper fit and operationVerify completed installations meet manufacturer specifications, company quality standards, and customer expectationsIdentify and communicate installation concerns or product issues to supervisors promptlyPerform adjustments and minor corrections as needed to ensure proper product performanceJobsite Preparation & Material HandlingLoad company vehicles with materials, tools, and equipment required for daily job assignmentsSafely unload, stage, and organize materials at customer jobsitesProtect finished products and surrounding work areas from damage during installationAssist with movement of windows, doors, and building materials using safe lifting practicesMaintain organized and efficient jobsites throughout the installation processCustomer ServiceCommunicate professionally with builders, contractors, homeowners, and other customersAnswer customer questions regarding installation work and project statusMaintain a courteous, respectful, and professional attitude during all customer interactionsEnsure completed work areas are clean and presentable before leaving the jobsiteQuality & SafetyFollow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirementsSafely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and installation equipmentInspect completed work to verify quality and customer satisfactionReport unsafe conditions, damaged products, or jobsite concerns immediatelyPromote a safety-first culture while maintaining high-quality workmanshipTeam CollaborationWork closely with Field Managers, Service Technicians, warehouse personnel, and other installation team membersSupport production schedules and project deadlines through efficient teamworkParticipate in required safety meetings and job-specific trainingAssist with additional installation or operational duties as assignedWhat you'll bring:Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnAbility to accurately read a tape measure and use levels and other measuring toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently while following established installation proceduresCustomer-focused attitude with a commitment to professionalismStrong work ethic and dependable attendanceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience installing windows, doors, millwork, or related building products preferredConstruction, finish carpentry, remodeling, or residential building experience preferredExperience using hand tools, power tools, and installation equipmentValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordOSHA certification is a plusWillingness to train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and construction experienceWork is performed primarily on residential and commercial construction jobsitesFrequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, seasonal temperatures, and active construction environmentsAbility to climb ladders and work comfortably at elevated heightsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workdayAbility to frequently lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more using proper lifting techniques or team assistanceFrequent use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and installation equipmentMay require overtime or extended hours based on project schedulesWhat you'll earn:Health Care BenefitsPaid Time OffBenefits for union-represented roles are determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits.QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
