High School Science Teacher Winchendon Public Schools Murdock High School - Winchendon, Massachusetts Job Details Job ID: 5696302 Application Deadline: Posted until filled Posted: May 06, 2026 4:00 AM (UTC) Starting Date: Aug 25, 2026 Job Description Science Teacher – Murdock High School – 2026‑2027 School Year Specific Responsibilities Implement curricula using HQIM and activities to meet academic standards Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade‑level activities, and school‑wide functions Be accountable for students’ mastery of academic standards Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Possession of MA teaching license in middle school science, including SEI endorsement Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles Ability to think critically, problem‑solve, backwards plan, analyze and use data, and prioritize the needs of the student Teaching experience with a proven track record of producing dramatic achievement gains is ideal Unwavering belief that all students can achieve at high levels and a strong commitment to doing whatever it takes for all our students to be college‑ready Belief in a structured school environment that promotes a positive culture of achievement Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
