Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Overview Part and full‑time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign‑on bonus. We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. Indiana University Health is looking for passionate, experienced nurses to join our team and collaborate with top medical professionals. Responsibilities The Endoscopy Registered Nurse will support pre‑procedure, intra‑procedure (scrub & circulator), and post‑procedure recovery patient care responsibilities in the IU Health North Endoscopy unit. The unit supports procedures with pediatric and adult patient populations in a fast‑paced environment, including upper and lower GI procedures, endoscopy procedures, bronchoscopies, and mobility and pain management patient care services. Shifts: DAY shift available with on‑call requirement of weekday call hours (Monday‑Friday, 7:00 PM–5:30 AM) and weekend call hours (Saturday & Sunday 24 hrs each day). Nursing skills gained: ERCP suite experience. Unit culture: fosters an environment for learning, support from team members and leadership, mentorship program. Unit Successes/Designations Multiple Daisy award nominees; IU Health Lasting Impressions nominees; IU Health Team award. Qualifications Assoc. of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer. Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license. Basic Life Support certification through AHA. Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.
