What You'll Do
- Submit prior authorizations for prescriptions and specialty medications
- Complete medication assistance or grant funding applications for patients
- Contact insurance companies for status updates
- Pull chart notes from EPIC EMR system
- Coordinate with pharmacy and insurance teams to resolve billing issues
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
What You Need
Required:- Valid certification/licenses (pharmacy tech license a plus, but not required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance billing, revenue cycle, or prior authorizations
- Strong communication and professionalism
- High School diploma + 3 yrs relevant experience or Associate's degree + 1 yr relevant experience
- EPIC experience
- Pharmacy tech licensure
