We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housing Specialist to support residents in public housing communities. This role focuses on assisting with applications, rent collection, resident support, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process applications, screenings, and move-ins according to housing policies.
• Collect rent payments and ensure accurate and timely data entry.
• Maintain records, track payments, and monitor delinquent accounts.
• Complete resident re-certifications and update income changes.
• Conduct resident interviews and provide information on available services.
• Issue lease violations and assist with resolving resident concerns.
• Perform move-in/move-out inspections and monitor unit conditions.
• Maintain accurate data in systems and prepare reports as needed.
• Assist with resident events and community activities.
• Support office operations and assist management when needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience in customer service, case management, or related field
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
• 1+ years leasing experience
