Position Summary Weareseekingadetail-orientedandhighlyorganizedProjectAccountanttojoinourteam.TheidealcandidatewillberesponsibleforsupportingtheprojectmanagementteamandControllerinensuringthatallcontractsandagreementsareexecutedinaccordancewithcompanypolicies,industryregulations,andlegalrequirements.Thisroleinvolvesmonitoring,reviewing,andmaintainingcompliancewithcontracttermsthroughouttheirlifecycletomitigateriskandensuresmoothbusinessoperations. Key Responsibilities New Project Set Up (BudgetandSOVs)/Ongoingmaintenance Collaboratewithprojectmanagerstodevelopadetailedandcost-effectivebudget. GatherCOI,Prelims,Bondrequests,DCIP,CCIP(inconjunctionwithpayables). Contracts:ManagePrimeContractChangeOrders,Subcontractoragreements,SubcontractorChangeOrders Cost Analysis Performcostanalysisandtrackallcoststoensureeffectiveandprofitableprogress. BillingandInvoiceManagement :Prepareandprocesscustomerandsubcontractorbilling.ProcesscustomerinvoicesreceivedfromPMswithSOVs. SubcontractorAgreementReview :Assistinreviewingsubcontractoragreementstoensuretheyalignwithcompanypolicies,legalrequirements,andproject-specifictermsandconditions.Identifyandaddressanydiscrepanciesornon-compliantclauses. ComplianceandAuditing :Tracksubcontractorperformanceandensurecompliancewithcontractualobligations,includingdeliverables,timelines,paymentschedules,andsafetyorregulatoryrequirements.Assistwithinternalandexternalauditsandprovidenecessarydocumentationandreports. DocumentManagement :Maintainaccurateandup-to-daterecordsofallsubcontractoragreements,certifications,insurancedocuments,andcompliance-relatedpaperwork.Ensureproperdocumentationiscollected,stored,andreadilyaccessibleforauditsorregulatoryreviews. CollaborationwithInternalandExternalStakeholders :Workcloselywithinternaldepartments(projectmanagement,accounting)toensuresubcontractorcontractsalignwithprojectneedsandcompliancestandards.Developandmaintainstrongcustomerrelationships,handlecustomercollectioninquiriesandcorrespondence,andensuretimelyresponses.Processcustomerlienreleases. ReportingandTracking :Preparereportsonsubcontractorperformance,compliancestatus,andriskassessments. RiskIdentification :Assistinidentifyingpotentialrisksornon-complianceissuesrelatedtosubcontractorperformance,includingsafetyviolations,delays,orfailuretomeetcontractualterms,andhelpdevelopcorrectiveactionplans. TrainingandGuidance :Providetrainingandguidancetointernalteamsandsubcontractorsoncompliance-relatedtopics,ensuringthatsubcontractorsunderstandtheirobligations. AuditSupport :Helpcoordinateinternalauditsorinspectionsrelatedtosubcontractorcompliance,ensuringthatallrelevantsubcontractorsareincludedandthatanynon-complianceissuesareidentifiedandaddressed. Qualifications Education :Highschooldiplomaorequivalentrequired;associate’sdegreeorrelevantcertificationspreferred. Experience :Minimumof3+yearsinaccounting,finance,orrelatedfieldwithintheconstructionindustryorotherrelevantsectorswheresubcontractorsareused. Skills Stronganalyticalskillsandattentiontodetail. Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills,withtheabilitytobuildrelationshipswithemployeesandclients. Strongorganizationalandtime-managementskills,withtheabilitytoprioritizetaskseffectively. ProficientinProcore,MicrosoftOfficeSuite(Word,Excel,PowerPoint,Outlook)andcomfortablewithofficetechnology. Abilitytohandlemultipletaskssimultaneouslywhilemaintainingahighlevelofattentiontodetail. Positiveattitude,strongworkethic,andagenuineinterestinhelpingothers. Additional Skills Aproactiveapproachtoproblem-solvingandwillingnesstotakeinitiative.
