Job Type: Full-time. Roles & Responsibilities Directs and manages the project design team as well as coordinates schedules with the project managers and supervisors to ensure that deadlines are met Assists in the preparation of proposals or project scope including feasibility cost estimates Reviews project work at appropriate milestones and follows quality control plan Coordinates and establishes relationships with permitting agencies Directs and reviews permit applications, specifications, bid documents, cost estimates, and report writing Coordinates with Geotech or other technical subs and communicates with contractor as needed Determines team roles for construction administration and performs spot field checks during construction Coordinates continuing education opportunities for technical staff Mentors and trains junior staff Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana 5+ years of experience in civil engineering Experience in a project engineer role for any of the following types of projects is preferred: municipal, roadway design, sanitary sewers, water mains, storm sewers, trails, traffic signals, site design for residential, commercial, educational and industrial projects Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team Good verbal and written skills Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Suite programs Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr Abonmarche
