Testing Technician

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Testing Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located Burlington, MA 01803. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Details:

Pay: $24 - $26/hr to Start!!
1 year assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
Monday - Friday (1st shift)
Position will be mainly responsible for preparing and testing coffee formulations by measuring ingredients, roasting coffee, packaging samples, and conducting quality evaluations using established laboratory procedures.
Position will also be responsible for performing laboratory testing, collecting, and analyzing data, maintaining accurate documentation, and generating reports using Excel and internal database systems.
Position will also support product development by preparing samples, operating Keurig brewing equipment, troubleshooting testing issues, and assisting with root cause investigations.
Position will also be organizing, labeling, storing, and shipping samples while maintaining laboratory equipment, following quality standards, and assisting with training new team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science is Required, Life Science or Food Science is Preferred!
Academic or Professional lab background is Required!
Experience within food and beverage industry (coffee or coffee beverages) is Preferred!
