Finance Associate

Our client is seeking a talented and driven mid-to-senior level Finance Associate to join their Global Finance Practice in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of substantive finance experience and a strong background advising on sophisticated financial transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, market-leading deals within a collaborative, high-performing global team. Responsibilities: Represent and advise clients in a wide range of finance transactions, including syndicated and club deals. Work with both bank and non-bank financial institutions, private credit funds, and sponsors on acquisition financings and other leveraged finance matters. Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, and related transaction materials. Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice areas to manage cross-border and multi-jurisdictional deals. Support clients with structured finance, CLO, and fund finance transactions as opportunities arise. Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Minimum of three years of substantive finance experience at a large law firm. Demonstrated experience in syndicated and club transactions, with particular exposure to private credit sponsor acquisition financings. Experience in structured finance, CLOs, and fund finance is a strong plus. Proven track record of working on cash flow lending and other complex finance transactions.
