This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Additional options available: 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s

Night shift: 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7pm - 7:30am

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, ensuring high-quality nursing practices and patient safety standards. The ideal candidate is required to have a strong background in Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient care based on telemetry needs.
• Monitor patients for any changes in condition and intervene as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• MUST HAVE PERMANENT Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License in hand at time of submission.
• Active certifications in BLS and ACLS required.
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
