Position Physician – Gastroenterologist, Olathe Medical Pavilion B Position Overview The University of Kansas Health System, Olathe Campus, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking a faculty member to join its dynamic GI team dedicated to comprehensive gastroenterology care. The candidate will provide exceptional care, contribute to the growth of the institution, and work in a state of the art facility with advanced equipment. Responsibilities Provide full spectrum general gastroenterology care, including upper and lower endoscopy procedures. Practice in a combined clinic and hospital setting with hospital call rotation for inpatient and ED consults. Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal bleeding, esophageal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and gastrointestinal cancers. Serve as a clinical educator for fellows, residents, and medical students. Participate in educational conferences and other didactic activities. Qualifications Fellowship trained in gastroenterology. Board certified or equivalent, and eligible for licensure in Kansas. Experience (preferred) with ERCP and EUS, but not required. Experience managing gastrointestinal bleeding, esophageal disorders, IBD, and GI cancers. New graduate GIs are considered. Benefits and Compensation Competitive compensation package.
