Must possess strong critical thinking skills.OR experience required, CVOR experience preferred.This position is referral eligible.Patient Population/Diagnoses: In the operating rooms, we care for a wide range of patients ranging from neonates up to adults. At Riley, we perform surgical procedures as simples as ear tubes to open heart.Number of beds: 16Nursing skills gained: Our OR nurses are trained to function in both the circulator role and as a scrub. Because of this, our onboarding takes approximately 9 months.Unit Successes/Designations/National recognition: Level I Trauma, MagnetUnit Culture Highlights: Growing team that will be comprised of 80 percent nurses and 20 percent certified surgical technologists. We have several other supportive roles such as Operating Room Assistants, Patient Transporters, and Equipment Specialist. Our team is dedicated to patient safety.
