The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Work on bill approvals across multiple companies in multiple states. Support and execute the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions. Maintain and update accounting records and documentation. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the service industry. Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
