Overview Business Development Representative – RHS-17616 Location: Ontario, California, United States Raymond West is looking for a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our Sales team. This position provides a vital communication and sales link between customers and the company to ensure continuing customer satisfaction. The Sales Representative will have a defined territory and is responsible for all customers within that area. Strong customer service, communication, problem solving, and multi-tasking with good organizational skills are required. Duties and Responsibilities Strive for professionalism, observe and comply with all Company regulations and policies. Represent the Company loyally, faithfully, with honesty and integrity. Sell products and services within established Company prices and policies. Maintain accurate and current customer profiles on all accounts. Maintain an accurate database for each account in the territory and an equipment master. Work to produce satisfactory sales volume and gross profit for the Company, with expected year-over-year improvement. Required Skills/Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, coworkers, and managers in other departments Willingness to work off-hours as needed and to assume more responsibility as required Ability to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner Ability to professionally present solutions one-on-one and in boardroom environments Present a mature, responsible appearance and communicate effectively with customer representatives at all levels Able to interact with all departments within the organization Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to create written proposals and update spreadsheets Able to plan appointments and adapt to changes as needed Forklift operation knowledge and ability (where applicable) Maintain systematic planning and accountability records Work with minimal supervision while responding to varying input requirements with drive and initiative Willing to comply with Employee Handbook and continually learn new products and policies Work with people directly by telephone and written correspondence, professionally and with a good appearance Self-confident and able to work with minimum supervision Good attendance and professional attitude Able to learn quickly and perform accurately and neatly with flexibility Maintain and use company property responsibly Education/Experience Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
