Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a travel assignment in long-term care. Location: Skowhegan, Maine, United States. Start date: 08/13/2026 for 18 weeks. Work setting: skilled nursing facility. Shift: 3x12-hour nights with weekend rotation. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Weekly pay: $1,298–$1,387 per week. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting per current care plans
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, recording and reporting any changes in condition
- Monitor residents’ health status, vital signs, and response to interventions; document accurately
- Collaborate with licensed colleagues, certified nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care
- Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Communicate handoffs clearly during shift changes and respond promptly to abnormal findings

Requirements
- Current LPN license in the state of Maine or eligibility for licensure (as applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in weekend rotation
- Demonstrated ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and maintain resident safety
- Compliance with relevant health, safety, and licensing requirements; willingness to complete standard onboarding and credentialing steps
