Senior Project Manager Job Overview The Senior Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams to manage multiple construction and renovation projects across a large geographic area for enterprise, consumer goods, and/or services clients. This includes oversight from initiation through completion, managing design professionals, contractors, and stakeholders and ensuring projects meet established goals. Responsibilities Hands‑on management and oversight of multiple projects, including renovations, building infrastructure, large remodels, and new construction with ground‑up experience. Concurrent management of various project phases in multiple locations, from initiation through design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, and financial closeout. Full accountability for end‑to‑end project management and development of risk‑management plans. Lead project teams—including architects, engineers, general contractors, specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, and client stakeholders—to achieve schedule, budget, and risk objectives. Provide weekly project activity updates to the Team Lead, including schedule, potential risks, budget status, and anticipated cash flow. Participate in or lead client decision‑making by providing data, recommendations, and risk outlines for approval. Oversee and prepare accurate project documentation (charter, due diligence, budgets, schedules, minutes, funding requests, status reports, punch lists, special reports) and ensure timely delivery to client. Manage vendors and ensure compliance with project policies and procedures, including formal closeout of projects within 90 days of completion. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field. 10–15 years of project management experience covering all aspects of design and construction. Proven experience with scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web‑based applications. Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture/fixtures/equipment specifications, design and space planning concepts, and construction costs and schedules. Preferred Qualifications Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management certification. LEED Certification. PMP Certification. Travel & Location This position requires up to 60% travel throughout the designated portfolio. Must reside in Salem, OR or Portland, OR. Remote work is available with required travel.
