QA Automation Tester

We are seeking a Senior Software Automation Test Engineer with strong technical, data, and domain expertise in compliance software engineering. In this role, you will lead end-to-end quality engineering and automation frameworks across complex data streaming pipelines, regulatory detection engines, and investigative case management dashboards.

You will design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for big data streaming (Kafka/Snowflake), RESTful microservices, and web frontends to ensure rigorous surveillance accuracy, zero false-negative detection, and full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and maintain scalable, multi-tier test automation frameworks using Java / Python alongside Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or RestAssured.

• Automate back-end API microservices, Kafka message streaming streams, and complex database validation logic.

• Validate rule-based and behavioral scenario models for money laundering detection (structuring, velocity, profile deviation, rapid movement of funds).

• Test high-speed market surveillance engines for trade manipulation indicators (spoofing, layering, wash trading, insider trading) across multi-asset classes.

• Conduct back-testing and regression testing of surveillance rule calibrations and alert threshold adjustments against historical data payloads.

• Validate high-volume data ingestion pipelines from enterprise trade-execution platforms and Swift/bank messaging into cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Oracle).

• Execute complex SQL queries, database assertions, and data integrity checks across raw ingestion, transformed detection, and Gold analytical layers.

• Integrate test suites into enterprise CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI / Jenkins) for automated daily and release-triggered execution.

• Track quality metrics, manage defect lifecycles (JIRA/Xray), and drive quality shift-left practices in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.

• Partner closely with Compliance Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Software Architects to translate complex financial regulatory mandates into automated test cases
