Senior Attorney

Role Description The Senior Attorney will manage a significant caseload of complex divorce and family law matters, including high net worth property division, child custody and visitation, support, and related issues. This full‑time hybrid role is based in Beverly Hills, CA, with a combination of in‑office and work‑from‑home flexibility as case needs permit. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include counseling clients, developing case strategy, conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and declarations, and preparing clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trials. The Senior Attorney will appear in court regularly, handle negotiations and settlement conferences, and work closely with the firm’s tiered attorney and professional staff structure to delegate tasks efficiently and mentor junior team members. The role also involves collaborating with experts (such as forensic accountants, custody evaluators, and vocational assessors), maintaining clear communication with clients, and contributing to firm best practices and process improvements. Qualifications Strong foundation in family law and general Law, with substantial experience managing complex divorce and related family law matters from intake through resolution. Experience providing clear, practical Legal Advice to clients, including counseling on strategy, risk, and potential outcomes in high‑conflict and high net worth cases. Proficiency in legal Research and written advocacy, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and settlement proposals with minimal supervision. Advanced Negotiation skills for settlement conferences, mediation, and informal resolution efforts, with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Familiarity with Labor and Employment Law as it intersects with family law issues (e.g., executive compensation, stock options, and benefits) is preferred.
