About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead the construction division with a strong focus on operational excellence, team performance, and field delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a layered organization that includes Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field teams. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between the office and the field, ensuring that project execution, labor productivity, and cost control are in line with the company's standards. The VP of Construction will be a key player in building and maintaining the company's reputation for reliability and quality, and will be expected to lead with a hands-on approach, being present in the field and actively engaging in the day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Construction include process improvement, fostering buy-in for new systems, and enhancing communication and alignment between the office and the field. The role demands a leader who is proactive, accountable, and can work in partnership with the President to elevate the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, be adept at building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally, and be committed to the values of the company.
