On-Site | Full-Time | Entry-Level / Junior and experienced estimators.

About Us
We're a growing glass and glazing company known for quality craftsmanship and reliable project delivery. As our workload grows, we're looking to add a motivated **Estimator/Project Manager** to help us bid, plan, and manage projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn the glazing industry inside and out and grow into a bigger role as the company expands.

About the Role
You'll split your time between the office and the field helping prepare accurate estimates/bids for new projects and then managing those projects through to completion. You'll work closely with ownership, the shop, and field crews, so this role is perfect for someone who's organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

What You'll Do
- Review project plans, specs, and drawings to prepare material and labor estimates/bids
- Request and compare vendor/supplier quotes for glass, aluminum, hardware, and related materials
- Assist in preparing and submitting bid proposals to general contractors and clients
- Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate with fabrication/shop staff to ensure materials are ordered and ready
- Communicate with field crews, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects on track
- Track project costs against budget and flag any overages early
- Visit job sites to take field measurements and verify project conditions
- Maintain organized project files, submittals, and change orders
- Help resolve day-to-day issues that come up during installation

What We're Looking For
- Some experience or coursework in construction, estimating, project management, or a related trade (internships/summer work count!)
- Basic understanding of blueprints/construction drawings, or willingness to learn quickly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel/Office; construction estimating software experience is a plus but not required
- Good communication skills comfortable talking with contractors, vendors, and crews
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
- Valid driver's license (job site visits required)
- A proactive, "figure it out" attitude in this industry rewards people who ask questions and take initiative

Nice to Have
- Degree or coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with glass, glazing, storefront, or curtain wall systems
- Experience with estimating software or project management tools

Location & Schedule
- On-site position located in Harrisonburg VA
- Monday- Friday 7:30AM-4:30Pm , with occasional job site visits and occasional overtime.
