Maintenance Technician - Pleasant Prairie, WICome join our team at our new state of the art facility in Pleasant Prairie!Starting Pay: Based on Experience/Skill Level: $31.75-$45.17/hr.Benefits: Full benefits on day one of employment + OT Pay!Primary duties: include providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environmentThe ideal candidate: will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair.How you will impact WestRock:Utilize electrical/mechanical skills to maintain machineryContribute to a collaborative safety culture that drives resultsProvide rapid response to ensure seamless productivityWhat you need to succeed:A basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsA basic understanding of Preventative Maintenance programsKnowledge/ experience with basic mechanical components and concepts (ie: Gears and Gearboxes, Bearings, Drive Shafts, Couplings, Sprockets, Chains)Read and interpret mechanical drawingsWorking knowledge of power transmission equipmentFamiliar with pumps, both pneumatic and electricSome knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switchesFamiliar with computers and Microsoft softwareFamiliar with pumps, both air and electricStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a mature and professional mannerPLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to work flexible hours, overtimeAn operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial /electronic controls, and power transmission systemsRead and interpret electrical drawings and logic/ control diagramsTroubleshooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level (2-3 years preferred)Able to install, setup, and troubleshoot both AC and DC drivesFamiliar with pumps, both pneumatic and electricAble to troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuitsBasic welding skillsWhat we offer:Corporate culture based on integrity, respect, accountability and excellenceComprehensive training with numerous learning and development opportunitiesAn attractive salary reflecting skills, competencies and potentialA career with a global packaging company where Sustainability, Safety and Inclusion are business drivers and foundational elements of the daily workMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance + Generous 401K Company Match +Employee Stock Purchase Plan potentialCandidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
