About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented picker and packer to support packaging operations in a manufacturing or food production environment. The successful candidate will work on the packaging line, preparing cartons, verifying finished products, and ensuring quality standards are maintained. This role requires a team-oriented individual capable of working independently while following safety and operational procedures to promote productivity and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a productive work environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with GMP standards
• Consistently meet packing line speed requirements with minimal assistance
• Prepare cartons and trays for packaging finished products
• Properly stack finished products and arrange displays for optimal appearance
• Label cartons and packaging accurately for product identification and tracking
• Inspect finished products and remove any defective or out-of-specification items prior to packing
• Assist with break relief to ensure continuous line operation
• Support reworking and repacking processes as needed
• Assist or train new employees in packaging procedures
• Support changeovers, machine setup, and cleaning of packaging equipment
• Perform basic math calculations related to packaging operations
• Read and accurately interpret written instructions
• Work independently while adhering to safety and quality standards
• Report any issues or concerns that could impact production safety or quality
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks up to 30 lbs
• Basic understanding of GMP and safety standards
• Ability to follow written instructions precisely
• Capable of standing, bending, and lifting as required for packaging tasks
• Attention to detail for inspecting products and labeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic math skills
• Experience working with packaging lines and related machinery
