Overview Industrial Maintenance - Level 2 Technician, Experience Required Location: 6200 Gordon Food Service Drive, Concord, NC The backbone of any organization is a team that is dedicated to keeping things in order. As a maintenance mechanic with Gordon Food Service, you’ll be hands-on with building schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, conveyor systems, building maintenance, cranes, hi-speed doors, and more. We emphasize safety, stability, and training to ensure our people are safe and the business runs at top performance. We provide a clean organized parts room and heavier specialty tools; you bring the basics. Schedule Sunday–Thursday 3P–12A midnight Pay Starting at $27.57/hr Benefits / Total Rewards Affordable benefits plans start day one Weekly pay Wellness reimbursement Profit sharing & 401(k) with company match 95% of leadership is hired from within GFS – start your career here Responsibilities Hands-on work with building schematics/blueprints Hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting HVAC systems, conveyor systems, and building maintenance Operate and maintain cranes, hi-speed doors, and related equipment Maintain safety, ensure reliable operations, and support continuous production Qualifications You must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED certificate Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required Three years of previous machine repair experience or an equivalent combination of education and training; previous experience in forklift repair Willing to work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and other areas as needed Successful passing of drug screen and background check Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift Gordon Food Service encourages veterans and active military members to apply.
