The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Vice President, US Analytics & Insights, the Executive Director, US Portfolio Analytics will lead the portfolio-wide analytics capabilities that enable data-driven commercial decision-making across Revolution Medicines’ US business. This leader will be accountable for Field Analytics, Market Access Analytics, Data Strategy & Governance, Omnichannel Analytics, and Dashboards, ensuring scalable, integrated capabilities that support launch readiness, commercialization, and performance management across the portfolio.

This role will serve as a strategic thought partner to US Commercial leadership and franchise Analytics & Insights leaders, translating business priorities into an integrated analytics roadmap and establishing consistent standards, methodologies, data definitions, and decision support across brands and functions. The Executive Director will operate as a player/coach—personally engaging in high-priority analyses and capability design while building, leading, and developing a high-performing team.

Candidates should bring deep biopharma commercial analytics expertise, strong business and technical acumen, and a track record of building scalable analytics capabilities in an agile, fast-growing organization. This position is based out of our headquarters in Redwood City, CA.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Portfolio analytics leadership. Serve as the senior leader for US Portfolio Analytics, defining the vision, operating model, capability roadmap, resourcing requirements, and prioritization approach for analytics across the US portfolio.

• Field Analytics. Lead the Field Analytics team and oversee field analytics strategy and execution, including healthcare professional (HCP) and account segmentation and targeting, field-force sizing and alignment and analytics, and field performance measurement. In collaboration with Field leadership and Field Operations, establish national, regional, territory, and account-level performance frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and analytics that identify leading indicators, execution gaps, growth opportunities, and actions for field leadership. Partner closely with Field Operations to provide analytics supporting field-force design and optimization, productivity, resource allocation, and incentive compensation.

• Market Access Analytics. Lead the Market Access Analytics team supporting payer coverage and access, reimbursement, channel and account performance, patient access, patient-services hub and specialty-pharmacy performance, payer pull-through, and evolving policy dynamics; provide analytical support for pricing, contracting, and gross to net assumptions in partnership with Market Access, Finance, and Forecasting.

• Data Strategy and Governance. Own the commercial analytics data strategy and roadmap across internal and external data assets; lead the data team in evaluating and onboarding new data sources and vendors, and contributing to the business requirements for data warehouse, customer relationship management (CRM), master data, business intelligence, and analytics platforms in close partnership with the Information Systems team. Lead the collaborative cross-functional Data Strategy Working Group optimize RevMed’s data strategy through transparent communication, business case reviews and cross-functional synergies. Manage the central repository of data providers.

• Omnichannel Analytics. Lead the Omnichannel Analytics Team which conducts the measurement and optimization for HCP and patient omnichannel engagement across multiple customer engagement channels, including customer journey analytics, channel effectiveness, attribution and marketing-mix approaches, test-and-learn programs, and advanced personalization and next-best-action use cases.

• Reporting & business intelligence. Partnering with the brand A&I teams to define the portfolio key performance indicators (KPIs) and representation on dashboards; oversee recurring performance reporting, executive dashboards and self-service business intelligence to create a consistent, decision-ready view of business performance and a single source of truth.

• Advanced analytics & innovation. Drive adoption of advanced analytics, predictive and prescriptive methods, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), automation, and emerging data sources to improve decision quality, scalability, and speed to insight.

• Launch and lifecycle support. Ensure analytics readiness for launch planning, launch execution, performance tracking, and lifecycle optimization across the US portfolio, including patient journey, customer opportunity, and cross-portfolio analyses.

• Cross-functional partnership. Partner closely within Analytics & Insights, and across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Finance, Commercial Operations, and Information Systems to translate business questions into clear analytical plans, insights, and recommendations.

• Vendor and resource management. Oversee external analytics, data, technology, and consulting partners, including scope, budget, quality, timelines, and performance, while building internal capabilities where they create durable strategic advantage.

• People leadership. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, multidisciplinary team; set clear expectations and standards, coach and mentor talent, and foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, collaboration, and business impact.

Required Skills, Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative, scientific, engineering, or business discipline(s).

• 12+ years of relevant experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or consulting environments, with substantial experience in commercial analytics and progressive leadership responsibility consistent with Executive Director-level expectations.

• Demonstrated success building, leading, and developing high-performing analytics teams and scaling capabilities in a complex, fast-paced commercial organization. Experience navigating evolving roles and responsibilities within a growing matrix organization, such as working with colleagues to map out RACI or similar frameworks to ensure effective and efficient collaboration.

• Broad commercial analytics expertise spanning field analytics, market access analytics, omnichannel analytics, reporting/business intelligence, and data strategy/governance, with deep hands-on expertise in several of these domains and the ability to lead across all of them.

• Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial data, including claims and prescription data, HCP and account data, CRM and field activity, payer and formulary/access data, specialty pharmacy and patient-services data, and digital engagement data.

• Experience defining KPI frameworks, executive dashboards, and performance-management reporting that translate complex data into clear business insights and actions.

• Experience partnering with Information Systems teams and business stakeholders on commercial data architecture, data quality, governance, business rules, and analytics platforms.

• Demonstrated success supporting product launch readiness, commercialization, and post-launch performance optimization.

• Excellent executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional stakeholders around data-driven decisions.

• Strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively through ambiguity while balancing strategic leadership with hands-on problem solving.

• Experience applying advanced analytics approaches such as marketing-mix modeling, attribution, segmentation, patient finding, predictive modeling, next-best-action, or AI-enabled decision support.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degree(s) (MBA, MS, MPH, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a relevant quantitative, scientific, or business discipline.

• Oncology or specialty-therapeutics experience, including experience supporting one or more US product launches.

• Experience building analytics capabilities in a small-to-mid-sized or rapidly scaling biopharma environment.

• Demonstrated leadership in AI and analytics-related innovation in commercial analytics/operations.

• Experience with common commercial data and technology ecosystems such as IQVIA, Symphony Health, Komodo, MMIT, Veeva, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable platforms.
