The role.

As a Senior Art Director at Huge, you are a world-class creative professional responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing integrated campaign work that delivers high-impact brand storytelling for our clients.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience collaborating with high-profile brands and a track record of delivering exceptional visual solutions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bringing creative direction to life—translating complex briefs into visually stunning campaign ecosystems, setting high standards for visual craft, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams from concept to final production.

What you’ll be doing.

• Lead hands-on conceptual thinking, turning client briefs into big campaign ideas, visually compelling platforms, and strong brand aesthetics.
• Craft high-level visual treatments, moodboards, and design systems to pitch creative concepts to internal leads and client stakeholders.
• Partner with Creative Directors to guide visual direction, presenting ideas with confidence and defending design decisions grounded in strategic rationale.
• Drive the visual execution across multidisciplinary project teams (Designers, Copywriters, Strategists, Motion Designers, and Photographers) throughout the creative process.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level designers, fostering a collaborative culture of aesthetic craftsmanship and visual storytelling excellence.
• Establish art direction standards across typography, photography, layout, motion, and digital design for both physical and digital touchpoints.
• Stay ahead of emerging design trends, visual culture, technology advancements, and industry best practices to push creative boundaries.
• Collaborate closely during creative production—including art directing photo/video shoots, 3D assets, and digital builds—to ensure flawless visual execution.
• Maintain uncompromising standards of visual craft, design precision, and quality control across all project deliverables.

What we like to see.

• 7+ years of art direction and design experience in an integrated brand creative agency or high-growth internal creative team.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional campaign art direction, visual design systems, and storytelling for major brands.
• Proven ability to develop original, big-idea concepts and translate them across multi-channel digital and physical campaign touchpoints.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence in articulating visual thinking and creative rationale to clients and internal teams.
• Hands-on mastery of industry-standard design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.), with a deep understanding of grid systems, typography, color theory, and motion.
• Experience art directing creative production, including photography, film/video shoots, and post-production workflows.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for connecting crafts—working closely with Copywriters, Strategists, Producers, and Tech teams to build cohesive creative solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and the initiative to own deliverables, problem-solve, and maintain high craft under tight timelines.

The salary range for this position is as listed below. Exactly where a prospective employee will be paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, the actual salary ranges for current and former employees who are either currently filling a similar role or did in the past; the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations; the market demand for that role and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based. For current Huge employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
