Quality Engineer

Mandates Mandatory Mandatory Mandatory Position located in Temecula, CA, within Abbott Vascular Division. Provide process and quality engineering support to manufacturing and product development teams to ensure the highest quality products. Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies, procedures, and applicable government regulations. Responsibilities Support manufacturing with process and quality engineering to deliver high‑quality products. Collaborate with product development teams to incorporate quality into new products. Identify and analyze manufacturing defects, non‑conforming materials, and customer complaints; assist in root‑cause determination and corrective/preventive actions. Review and learn product quality plans, specifications, and quality systems, including risk analyses and FMEAs. Familiarize with process monitoring systems and methods to reduce process variation. Apply quality tools and training materials to support product and process improvement efforts. Work under close supervision, following detailed instructions, and develop internal resource networks. Complete daily work within established schedules and priorities set by the supervisor. Exercise authority within pre‑established limits when appropriate. Required Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum 2 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic technical knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in a quality system environment. Preferred Experience Experience with manufacturing, plastics, or extrusion processes. Compensation Base pay range: $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, pay may vary.
