Job Title

Travel: RN – Emergency Room (3x12s, Mid-Shift)

Location

Lafayette, Indiana

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Mid-Shift (3:00 PM – 3:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts per week | 36 hours guaranteed weekly | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Emergency Department serving medical, injured, and mental health patient populations across the lifespan
• Maintain a standard patient ratio of 1:4, with flexibility for lower-acuity patient assignments
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Operate specialized equipment including Level I fluid warmers as required for patient care
• Collaborate as an active team member within the Emergency Department to ensure safe and efficient patient throughput
• Complete facility-assigned education modules prior to or during onboarding as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Indiana
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience caring for patients across the lifespan in an emergency setting
• Ability to work mid-shift hours (3:00 PM – 3:30 AM) including every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Experience providing trauma care for patients across the lifespan
