Software Engineer - Fixed Duration

Position Summary The ADMET Intelligence group is seeking an experienced full stack developer to support scientific workflow management applications. What You Will Do Work with laboratory scientists to develop new features and enhance existing functionality for workflow management, including assay request handling, plate definitions, and sample tracking and results analysis Maintain and extend integrations with internal / external APIs Design, implement and test database schema changes, write efficient queries for PostgreSQL Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure code coverage Demonstrate best practice on code quality, documentation, CI/CD rigor, and architectural best practices, ensuring our research code is robust enough for enterprise production Serve as a bridge between discovery teams, and IT/Cloud organizations, converting scientific intent into rigorous engineering specifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline with 1+ years of relevant experience Demonstrated experience building full stack Django applications in Life Sciences, Biotech, or a similar R&D environment Active GitHub profile with public contributions demonstrating experience in Python Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) Experience with Django ORM, migrations, and model design Experience with Django REST Framework for API development Experience implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $72,000 - $213,400. Full‑time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
