Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing. What are we looking for?The Environmental Regional Manager will work closely with the Environmental Regional Vice President (RVP) to provide focused leadership and/or direct management of designated Operating Units (OUs). The position will be an extension of the RVP and in conjunction with the ENV RVP to establish and monitor designated key performance indicators (KPIs) to increase gross revenue, manage labor %, and drive operating margin. The Regional Manager will also provide feedback to the RVP on operational and staffing challenges, to assist in process improvement. This position will travel 25% of the time depending on company needs.Shift/Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)Salary & Benefits InformationThe salary range for this position is $150,000 - $185,000. This position is bonus eligible. What you’ll do:Administrative/FinancialReview and approve staff timesheetsReview and approve department expenses and accounts payableInterview, hire, and onboard staffReview monthly profit and loss statementsProject/QualityEnsure Operating Unit (OU) compliance with Quality programs and Core Management Controls (CMCs)Mentor and train staffDirect management of projects and contractsCommunicate with existing clients to discuss satisfaction with PSI’s services and identify potential new opportunitiesReview project invoicing for accuracyEnsure follow up with clients on outstanding accounts receivable in a timely mannerBusiness DevelopmentDevelop and implement sales and growth plans aligned with best management practicesStrategize approaches to capture identified opportunities and leadsReview and/or Prepare cost estimates and proposals Ensure prompt team follow up on 100% of submitted proposalsThis position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related science field10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with strong technical and operational expertise5+ years in a people management role, proven experience overseeing teams of 5–10+ staff; skilled at leading in both an influential capacity and a traditional people-management environmentAbility to manage geographically dispersed teams across multiple locationsProven office group management experience with a track record of P&L growth Demonstrated success in developing and implementing business strategies and process management programs within a service-oriented organization Strong business development skills with a track record of cultivating and growing new client relationships, while driving revenue growthAbility to conduct business across multiple time zones with flexibility for travel as neededHigh degree of personal integrity, with a collaborative approach to leadership in a team-based environment Thrives in fast-paced, multi-tasking settings with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record requiredWillingness and ability to travel 25% of the time Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:Professional registration/certifications (P.G., P.E., CIH,)Intertek: Total Quality.
