Responsibilities Title: Physical Therapist Assistant. Location/work environment: In facility. Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You bring their power back by implementing physical therapy programs and activities, following developed recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You are a healer and helper, addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is to execute a program that restores, reinforces, and enhances their physical abilities. You are adaptable to patients' needs, find joy in the variety of work and settings, collaborate with peers, and make referrals to help patients thrive. Being a Physical Therapist Assistant means putting patients first, ensuring families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
