The Youth Mental Advocate Counseling Center is actively seeking dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our innovative psychotherapy group practice. Work Environment

Our clinicians work autonomously yet collaboratively, engaging in group consultations and training sessions via virtual platforms. Everything from client evaluations to therapeutic sessions happens online, offering you the flexibility to set your schedule while maintaining consistent communication with your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at the Youth Mental Advocate Counseling Center, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and delivering targeted psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families in a remote setting.
• Utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities, including crisis intervention, brief therapy, and skills training, to address diverse client needs.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including licensed psychologists and nurse practitioners, to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of therapy records, treatment notes, and progress reports, while utilizing electronic health record systems effectively.
• Participating in virtual clinical team meetings and consultations to discuss case management, treatment strategies, and quality assurance concerns.
• Evaluating and determining the appropriate level of care based on individual client needs and treatment goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with clients experiencing mental health challenges, including those with dual diagnoses. This role will allow you to engage with diverse populations ranging from children to adults, enabling you to provide culturally competent support that acknowledges and responds to various sociocultural factors influencing mental health.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent (such as a Psy.D) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services.

Preferred Experience

Experience using telehealth platforms for service delivery is highly preferred, as is familiarity with electronic health records systems. Additional training or expertise in evidence-based therapies will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

The Youth Mental Advocate Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
