Materials Handler (Okc/Ft) Safety Sensitive - Driving

Pay: $16-$16.50 Schedule: 10 Am To 7 Pm, Off Wednesdays And Thursdays

Examples Of Work Performed:

• General warehouse duties such as, but not limited to: loading and unloading of trucks
• Make sure all merchandise is labeled with a destination using a scan gun properly
• Removing any damaged merchandise and take to repair shop
• Stage merchandise in correct area within the warehouse in a timely fashion
• Assembly/disassembly of merchandise
• Keep warehouse area clean, removing trash from work area, sweeping work area
• Inspect merchandise for functionality, damages, defects, and imperfections
• Loading customer merchandise
• Make all necessary copies and paperwork and obtain customer signatures on waivers
• Knowledge of correct ticket procedures
• Gathering empty boxes and breaking them down, sweeping warehouse, operating the trash compactor
• Move items off-loading belts or vehicles
• Account for all scheduled items for next day delivery
• Checking for shortages through auditing the manifest
• Use proper procedures when working with knives, flat carts, and lifting merchandise
• Assisting other departments in the warehouse as needed
• Check daily closing assignments and responsibilities
• Use excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers
• Perform any other duties as directed by management

Employment Standards:

• Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; ability to work in a face paced environment; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or 1 chargeable accident within the last three years.

Physical Activity Requirements:

• To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
• Heavy Work: lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs constantly to move objects.
• Work Environment: occasionally works in hot and/or cold temperatures and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
