Comprised of dedicated people and decades of manufacturing experience, we have continued to experience strong growth and currently have outstanding career opportunities for equally dedicated people.In the role of a Set-up Technician, you will be responsible to perform other related duties in conjunction with other employees and departments contributing to the overall team effort, efficient process, and safe working environment. Assist the shift Supervisor, Manufacturing Associates, Production Planner and Engineers. Position includes many essential components necessary for successful and efficient manufacturing, and as such, shares full responsibility for the final product delivered to the customer.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Obtain daily priorities from daily production sheetConduct daily mold cleaning on all IMMInstall and remove mold from IMM following PSSConduct molds cleaning before setup to prevent contamination on productionMaintain 5S on Molding Machine, hoses and die cartsParticipate to restart all Injection Molding Machines on MondaysPerform checks on crane prior to useFollow ISO procedures when defined including all Clean Room protocolsUtilize fork lift as necessary to move moldsReturn Fixtures or auxiliary equipment to the store room at end of production runPerform all tasks in a safe mannerRegular attendancePerform other duties as assignedEssential Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical and hydraulic training preferredMust be a self-starter, able to work with minimum supervisionMust be proficient in counting and mathFamiliarity with 5S and lean manufacturing principlesMust have good communication skillsMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishDesirable Qualifications:Medical device manufacturing experiencePhysical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:Bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, lift or otherwise move about frequently and for extended periods of timeLift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. frequently, or more occasionallyWalk, stand or otherwise move about continuouslyExposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protectionTypically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computerThe environment includes a variety of physical conditions, such as moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current and working on ladders.We are committed to fair and equitable hiring with salaries based on relevant factors, such as work experience, education, and certifications.
