As a Precision CNC Programmer/Setter, you’ll own setups, refine code, and ensure every component meets client specifications.What Success Looks LikePrograms and setups on CNC mills (3–4 axis VMC) and lathes (2–4 axis) consistently meet tolerance and finish targets.Blueprints are translated into efficient toolpaths and fixturing choices that reduce cycle times.Preventive maintenance and quick troubleshooting minimize downtime.In-process checks and final inspection verify conformance on every run.Production data is captured accurately; variances are flagged immediately.Collaboration with teammates drives measurable gains in throughput and quality.Work areas remain safe, organized, and audit-ready.Your Core ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills and lathes for production and prototype work.Read and interpret detailed drawings/blueprints and manufacturing specifications.Adjust G-code, offsets, and tooling to optimize performance and quality.Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.Monitor processes and make real-time adjustments to maintain standards.Inspect parts with advanced gauges and measurement methods; document results.QualificationsMinimum 5 years as a CNC machinist.Hands-on with multi-axis mills and lathes.Deep understanding of G-code and CNC setup.Comfortable interpreting complex technical drawings.Strong attention to detail; proactive problem-solver.Team-oriented with effective communication skills.High school diploma or equivalent; technical training/certification preferred.Technical Strengths We ValueCNC tooling knowledgeG-code literacySetup and rapid changeoverAdvanced inspection and gauge measurementReliable setups for production runsManual machining skillsMachines & TechnologiesHaas and Doosan CNC Mills (3–4 axis VMC)Haas and Doosan CNC Lathes (2–4 axis)If you thrive on precision and process improvement, we’d like to meet you.
