Cybersecurity Architect - Mergers & Acquisitions
AbbVie
AbbVie seeks a Security Architect to support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic collaborations within its Information Security & Risk Management group. The role bridges security and business teams to design solutions, coordinate security services, and develop playbooks for M&A transactions and partner integrations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate core security and technology services with infrastructure, technical, and acquisition target teams during transactions
- Develop, document, and deploy secure design patterns for strategic partner collaborations
- Create new security playbooks and services tailored to business alliances and strategic acquisitions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 7 years experience, or Master's with 6 years, or PhD with 2 years
- Hands-on security architecture experience in cloud, application, network, identity, or operational technology
- Direct experience designing security solutions for acquisitions, divestitures, or multi-company collaborations
- Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, M365, and Slack
- Proficiency with Active Directory and related security constructs
- Understanding of NIST 800, ISO 27001, and industry security standards
- GCFE, GCFA, GDSA, GCTI, GCIA, GCDA, or GEIR certifications strongly preferred
